ChallengedA torn ligament in my arm and a bad tooth have taken priority this week. I'm not smoking more, but neither am I smoking less. The arm is better and the tooth is healing. Let's see what this next week brings.

Step OneAssessing smoking's importance to me. It appears that my satisfaction is more in handling and lighting the cigarettes than in actually smoking them. I'm counting the number I use each day and do not exceed that number the next day. In doing this, I become AWARE of the habit which had become almost a subconscious activity. Awareness is key for me...and progress.
