Another New York Tradition. I love the holiday spirt, but over the years, as I grow older I find that sometimes it feels more like a hurried rushed through time of year not to be cherished but to be moved through at lighting speed, what with all the shopping and cooking and cleaning the holiday season brings. I would love to get back to my simple upbringing when thanksgiving was about enjoying the company of my friends and family and giving thanks for the things we have an abundance for.
