language is German in 2007; some quizzes are at http://iteslj.org/v/g/ and some online German TV stations at http://wwitv.com/

switching to Spanish in 2008, and changing to 10 words a WEEK instead of per day... more reachable, and still 520 words a year.

still not working, so switching to 1 word a day in November 2008. I found a website, spanish-word-a-day.com, that sends me a word in my email every day!

keeping it Spanish in '09, no other language makes as much sense here on the Mexico border...

Learning 1 word a day may sound simple, but the important thing is how many words will we retain after some time???

this might helpI found a site with Rammstein lyrics with translations! karaokemaniac that I am, this might be the best way for me to pick up some vocab... YMMV...
