got up before dawn this morning and jogged the 4.5 miles or so to the Mexico border... yeah! if I can keep this up, there's a good deal of danger I might get back in shape eventually...
jogging in circles just for the sake of exercise doesn't work for me, for some reason. there has to be some kind of goal (like the border). in this case, there's a bus that brings me back to town for 50 cents. back when I was living in NYC in the mid-80's, I'd jog about 6 miles to the World Trade Center almost every morning and take the subway back to midtown.
so whaddaya say, joggers and runners? are ya pounding the pavement regularly? post me a comment, I'm a competition addict and I love to hear about people doing better than I am!
